On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Republicans from across Delaware will gather for the 2026 Republican State Convention at Bally’s Dover Resort in Kent County. This convention will serve as the nominating convention for key statewide offices and will help set the course for the year ahead.
This convention is about more than a single day. It represents a moment when Republicans from every corner of the state come together with a shared purpose. Delegates will take part in endorsing candidates for United States Senate, United States Congress, and statewide offices, while also conducting party business that will shape our direction heading into the 2026 midterm elections.
In advance of the State Convention, regional conventions will be held to select delegates. In Sussex County, the Regional Convention will take place on March 9, 2026, in Millsboro. These regional conventions are where grassroots participation matters most and where engaged Republicans can step forward to represent their communities at the state level.
If you are interested in serving as a delegate or learning more about the convention process, I encourage you to reach out to your Representative District Chair (RDC). Your RDC can provide details on the regional convention, delegate selection, and how to get involved locally. See below for information.
There will also be a convention dinner on Friday evening, April 24, 2026, at Bally’s Dover Resort.
More details will be shared as they become available.
