Every Second Matters When Someone Calls 911.

Every second matters when someone calls 911.

As Sussex County continues to grow, our roads aren’t just carrying more traffic—they’re carrying the responsibility of getting first responders where they’re needed most. Congested roads can delay emergency response times, and that’s a challenge we can’t afford to ignore.

Doug Conaway is grateful for the firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, law enforcement officers, and emergency dispatchers who answer the call every single day. Supporting our first responders means more than saying “thank you”—it means planning ahead, investing in infrastructure, and making sure our roads keep our communities safe.

To every first responder serving the 41st District: thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your commitment to protecting our communities.
