ISSUES
Just as I fought for our Nation, I'm ready to FIGHT FOR YOU! Here are some of the key issues that I will stand up for in representing you.
Education
It is imperative that every child be provided a valuable education that prepares students to achieve their highest potential. I want students to be their best and be a productive member of society. To do this, we must focus on basic educational goals; math, language arts, reading, science, and social studies.
Energy
As the demand for energy increases, we must look at other options that provide affordable and reliable energy. Additionally, we should be working to rebuild current in state infrastructure to save taxpayers money while ensuring we are not fully reliant on energy from outside of our borders.
Taxes
Every year we see direct and indirect cost of living increases that outpace the average Delawareans pay increases. Adding additional cost through taxation is non-negotiable. I believe in being a good steward of the peoples hard earned money and will vote NO to any tax increases.
Health Care
Health and dental care access in Sussex County is limited. With costs consistently rising many Delawareans delay medical care while countless younger residents go without care because of affordability. We must ensure corporatized healthcare’s profit driven models do not supersede Patient care.
Infrastructure
Sussex County continues to experience rapid population growth yet we fail to adequately project infrastructure requirements to improve our quality of life. We must work to progress our current roadways, bridges and energy grids to support business growth, provide a safer environment and improve opportunities for all residents.
2nd Amendment
Our founding fathers knew the importance of protecting individual rights for self-defense “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Being a proud gun owner believe this remains true today.
