Doug Conaway believes the answer isn’t another tax, another fee, or another government program that puts an additional burden on hardworking Delawareans.
Before asking taxpayers for more, government should be accountable for how it spends the money it already receives.
That means responsible budgeting, greater accountability, and protecting taxpayers from unnecessary costs.
Doug believes government has a responsibility to live within its means, prioritize essential services, and remember who ultimately pays the bill.
Because at the end of the day, it’s your money — not the government’s.
